High Mountain and Flowing Water have been popular themes for poets, painters, and musicians alike. Join us as we explore this theme in guzheng and guqin music. This special lecture will include live demonstration of guzheng folk music, guqin music, and music appreciation of various recordings of old masters. Learn more about the significance of the High Mountain Flowing Water theme!

Tranquil Resonance Studio will be presenting the Traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony at a Cultured Gathering in the Garden Gate Creativity Center.

October 28, Chinese Tea Gathering
David Wong and Bonnie Lee will be playing the guqin to accompany tea practitioners from the North American Asian Art and Culture Association at the Asian Art Museum on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Demonstrations will be at 12:00 noon, 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm (30 minutes each) with limited seating; first come first served, free with museum admission.
